The Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council (HPRC) is pleased to welcome a new member, Prent Corporation. The AmeriStar awards are an annual honor given to the best packaging design based on innovation, product protection, economics, package performance, marketing, and environmental impact.

JANESVILLE, WI. (April 4, 2018) – Prent Corporation, the industry leader in custom medical and electronics thermoform packaging, is constructing a 45,000 square-foot advanced manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico. The facility, operational in the fourth quarter of 2018, will meet the growing demand for medical packaging regionally while strengthening a global footprint that supports the medical, electronics and consumer industries from the Americas to the Caribbean, Europe to Southeast Asia and beyond.

Prent Corporation, headquartered in Janesville, Wisconsin, has received ISO Class 8 certification for two additional manufacturing clean rooms. The newly constructed space was built to accommodate increased growth in the medical packaging market, further showcasing the company’s commitment to meet the most critical manufacturing requirements.

Prent Puerto Rico recently embarked on a site expansion project to streamline production operations and material handling at its Puerto Rico manufacturing plant. The expansion project includes growing storage capacity by 200%.

Prent Corporation has expanded production capabilities to include an ISO Class 8 qualified Secondary Operations clean room at their world headquarters located in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Students from Janesville, Wisconsin area schools received a personalized look at Prent Corporation’s global operations. Before embarking on their 18-day trip to China, the students visited Prent’s World Headquarters in Janesville.
