The new Santa Teresa facility, Prent’s 12th manufacturing facility, is scheduled to open in Q3 2021. The facility will house advanced ISO 13485-certified manufacturing services in a certified Class 8 cleanroom. To ensure repeatable, high-quality performance, the facility will leverage Prent’s vertical integration strategy by utilizing Prent’s Worldwide Design Team, Thermoform Machine Build, and Custom Tool Build facility located in Wisconsin. This enables Prent to confidently lower customers’ risks, simplify tool transfers, and meet the medical industry’s high standards of excellence.

“The Borderplex region makes perfect sense for Prent. It’s an area ripe for innovation and partnership,” Mark Rothlisberger, Sr. Vice President of Manufacturing for Prent, said. “The region is filled with new opportunities, and the growth potential for Prent is limitless.”  “The ability to be closer to our customers allows us to provide eco-friendly services from ethical sourcing of raw materials, to environmentally-friendly manufacturing practices, to packaging and shipping, and to averting landfill waste,” said Rothlisberger.

Prent designs and manufactures custom trays, totes, and clamshells to address manual and automated lines for nearly every major medical OEM in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.
