Prent Expands Secondary Operations

Custom Engineered, Multi-Step Services Now Available

 

JANESVILLE, WI—October 3, 2007—Responding to a growing customer need, Prent Corporation has expanded its Secondary Operations services and facilities to include complex, custom, multi-step, automated processes.

 

Prent Corporation, with facilities in Wisconsin, Arizona, Puerto Rico, Shanghai, Singapore and Malaysia, is the industry’s largest thermoformer of medical packaging and a major manufacturer of thermoform packaging for the electronics and consumer markets.

 

“Pricing pressures, rising insurance, labor and training costs, inefficiencies, erratic quality, coupled with FDA validation and other regulations are all factors driving our customers to seek expanded secondary services from Prent,” according to Joe Pregont, Prent President and CEO.

In response to this demand, Prent has developed a new one-stop, Class 100,000 clean room for value-added operations.   Each secondary system is custom designed and engineered to perform multi-step operations in a six sigma, lean manufacturing environment.
