Prent Opens Worldwide Machine Build Facility
Above, Prent Corporation recently opened its new Worldwide Machine Build Facility to supply state-of-the-art thermoformers to its facilities around the world.
JANESVILLE, WI—August 1, 2007—Prent Corporation, the global leader in medical thermoform packaging, recently completed construction of a new Worldwide Machine Build Facility, located adjacent to its corporate headquarters in Janesville, WI.
It is dedicated to supplying Prent plants around the world with custom Prent thermoformers to meet the company’s continuing global expansion. Staffed by assembly personnel, electrical technicians and CNC programmers, the facility is sized to produce a minimum of one machine per month using a flow through process—a frame enters one end of the facility and leaves as a finished thermoformer. Machines are shipped to Prent facilities in Shanghai, Singapore, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Flagstaff and Janesville.
